It was a great day for North Carolina basketball. Following UNC's 100-80 beatdown of N.C. State, the Tar Heels celebrated in the locker room with none other than Michael Jordan, the greatest to ever play the sport. Jordan was in town and in the Smith Center as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration for the 1982 UNC team. That team featured a freshman Jordan, who hit the game-winning shot against Georgetown in the National Championship game.
